LitterBusters app for iPhone and iPad

LitterBusters is a clean up the city initiative implemented by The City of Rockingham, Western Australia.

By using our new LitterBusters App you will be helping us to locate litter, remove the litter in a timely manner as well as respond to your submission if you choose to receive updates about your report.

1.On the Home Screen tap “Make A Report”
2.Choose either “Take a photo” (your camera will open automatically) or “Use existing photo” (your photo gallery will open automatically)
3.Then choose either “Use current location” (the app will record your current geographic location) or “Enter address of litter” (manually enter the location of the litter in the text box provided, please try to be as specific as possible to help us find the litter)
4.Then from the drop down box choose the description that best fits the type of litter you are reporting
5.Add any extra comments you may have in the field provided
6. Select if you would like to receive updates/be contacted about your reports progress a.If “No” then proceed to submit your report
b.If “Yes” then a pop up will appear where you can enter your personal details for the City to contact you. Your name and address are mandatory fields for this process. You must then select “use these details” to be taken back to the main reporting screen to “Submit” your report.
7.Your submitted report will reach the litter busters inbox almost instantly
8.The LitterBusters will then proceed to process the report. If you choose to receive updates the team will send you a confirmation with details of your report reference number.
9.Within 24 hours of the report being processed, the LitterBusters will be at the scene either clearing the litter or making a plan to clear it.
10.If you chose to receive an update you will receive an email when the task has been completed.
